Syracuse: The Night Before We Leave

Packing again. This is it - tomorrow we head off in to the sunset towards Ohio, our first stop. I have made some flapjacks for snacks and looked up Organic supermarkets that will be along our route, as well as 'local' restaurants so that we can avoid Steve's nemesis: High Fructose Corn Syrup. Looking around the bedroom it seems that someone came in and threw our clothes all over the floor - but it's just our organised chaos.

I really dislike rounding my things up especially as we have been here for a while - it reminds me when Mum used to say: "could you please clear your things out of the kitchen"

Steve has spent the last few weeks mapping out our route and getting all The Gear together; now it's time to put it all to the test as we begin our journey to the west...

  1. GOOD LUCK on your first leg! Just remember, you'll always be east-coasters!!

  2. I guess it's safe to infer that "the move" is finally underway! Congratulations and safe travels to you both. Hope our paths cross again.
